Project Description

Lydia’ Lodge is a holiday home in Porthmadog created for families who have children with life limiting illnesses – whether to facilitate a holiday with the sick child, or to benefit bereaved families. The holiday home was bought in memory of Jacqueline Wilson’s daughter Lydia who passed away age 6 from a very rare brain tumour after a very long and tough battle.

In the days and weeks after George’s death Jackie (in her professional role as a Funeral Director) was such a huge support to us all that she has become a friend of the family and the Trustees felt it appropriate that an allocation be made to help. We are still working with Jackie to identify where our allocation would be most beneficial – watch this space!
