At the July Parish Council meeting it was reported that on Sunday 30th June someone had collapsed and died of a heart attack at Tarvin Tennis Club.
The defibrillators on the High street and at the Community Centre could not be used for different reasons. The trustees of the George Heath Foundation found out about the need for an additional defibrillator and asked the Parish Council if we could help. The PC had identified the Scout and Guide Hut wall as being a potential location for the new fully automatic machine which is suitable for both adults and children. The defibrillator has recently been installed, and, although we are pleased that it is there, we hope that it never has to be used.
